John Deere 430 Tractor Parts

The John Deere 430 was introduced in 1956 as part of John Deere's efforts to provide farmers with robust and versatile tractors. Production continued until 1960. The tractor features a John Deere built gasoline engine, rated at approximately 30 horsepower with a displacement of 164 cubic inches. The transmission is a four-speed gear type, providing adequate speed ranges for various field operations. The independent PTO delivered approximately 26 horsepower at 540 RPM, making it suitable for operating mowers, balers, and other implements. The hydraulic system offered a flow rate around 5.5 GPM, providing sufficient power for implements. The 3-point hitch is a Category I, allowing for easy attachment of various implements.
