Case IH 756 Tractor Parts

The Case IH 756 was introduced in 1967 as part of the International Harvester line (before the Case IH merger). Production continued until 1971. Engine options included the International Harvester C-291 6-cylinder gasoline engine producing approximately 70 horsepower and a displacement of 291 cubic inches, or the International Harvester D-282 6-cylinder diesel engine with similar horsepower and a 282 cubic inch displacement. The 756 typically featured a gear transmission with options for either a 5-speed forward and 1-reverse speed transmission, or a Torque Amplifier (TA) transmission offering 10 forward and 2 reverse speeds, adding versatility in the field. It delivered around 63 PTO horsepower with a standard 540 RPM PTO. The hydraulic system had a capacity of approximately 12 GPM, with available remotes. Its Category II 3-point hitch provided ample lift capacity for implements. The 756 was commonly used for row crop farming, hay production, livestock operations, and various tillage tasks. It stood out in the IH lineup for offering a balanced combination of power, features, and affordability, making it a valuable asset on many farms.
